Reach Out In Hope Ministries reaches out in hope to the incarcerated and the families of the incarcerated by training and encouraging churches and organizations to start or enhance an existing  prison ministry that will minister not only to the inmate on a one to one basis but to the whole family so when the inmate is released, they are not only a new creature in Christ but, they can also take a productive role in society, instead of returning to the life of crime in which they had become so indoctrinated through out their lives.

About Us

Our vision is to recruit, train and equip volunteers to be able to minister to the needs of the incarcerated, and their families.  There will be more on Reach Out In Hope added to this site within a very short time.  Please check back, often.

Text Box: REACH OUT IN HOPE

Lord, let me reach out in hope
To at least one soul today.
Show me what to say or do
That will point them Your way.

Let me show them only You
Can change a past of pain and despair
For a future full of hope and love
From a Father who truly does care.

Then give me strength to be there
To continue to see them through.
So the world will know that any life
Can be changed but only through You.

And if I'm asked why I reach out to others
I'll answer because of what Christ did for me.
He reached out in hope of my salvation
When He died on the cross at Calvary.

According to the U. S. Department of Justice there are approximately 600,000 prisoners released each year and within 3 years an estimated 65% of these will be back in prison within a year, either because of a new crime for which they received another prison sentence, or because of a technical violation of their parole.  These are the ones that especially need support from local churches and Christians so they will have constant assurance that only Christ can give them the strength they need to turn their back on their former life and live a life devoted to Him.  Remember Christ’s words:

“...In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these, my brethern, you have done it unto ME.  Matthew 25: 40”
